I am a physiotherapist with over 30 years experience.  Since graduating from the University of Sydney 1993, I have worked extensively in both the public sector and private practice in Sydney and London, treating high-level athletes, dancers and West End performers as well as people with occupational injuries and chronic pain.

I have a particular interest in functional rehabilitation, posture, and the mind–body connection. Through my clinical practice I have developed a growing fascination with the way we use language in treatment and exercise.

I have undertaken further study in Clinical Pilates and Women’s Health and these skills underpin my treatment approach.

My experience as a hands-on manual therapist integrates with and enhances my skills in rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates and exercise therapy.

A typical physiotherapy session with me begins with a thorough musculoskeletal assessment and a discussion about your goals for treatment.  I aim to give you strategies and advice to assist your recovery and manage pain.  My treatment is underpinned by evidence-based practice and aims to treat you as a whole person, not just as an injured spine/arm/knee. Together, we tailor a rehabilitation plan that empowers you to take control of your injury. Where appropriate, I will liaise with other health care providers to optimise your recovery.

I have been a member of The Australian Physiotherapy Association since 1993.
